2 min. excerpt from Eclipse (Friday). 2022, light projection, 10 min, looped, Trinity North Shore Anglican Church.

"It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two."
Luke 23:44-45, NIV
Eclipse (Friday) is a liturgical work, first shown on Good Friday at Trinity North Shore Anglican Church. It is a meditation on the crucifixion as both a cosmic and a human event. The work was projected throughout the service and became most prominent when the lights dimmed during the veneration of the cross after the reading of scripture. Eclipse was one of several artworks incorporated into the service.
