"The mission of the New American Association of Massachusetts (NAAM) is to assist newly arriving refugees and immigrants with integration into American society, to promote economic stability, to build bridges with the larger community, and to foster the maintenance of refugees’ and immigrants’ cultural identities" (from NAAM's website). They provide a variety of services and classes to help New Americans thrive in their new life in America.
My work with the New American Association is ongoing. We began with a rebrand of the organization, designing a logo that represented new life and opportunity here in Massachusetts. We settled on this image of the Bunker Hill bridge, representing both the Boston icon and the bridges that NAAM builds for its clients every day, with the sun overhead symbolizing hope and a new day. The rebrand has thus far encompassed the organization's stationary and social media accounts, and will soon extend to its website, naamass.org.
